Warren General Hospital and Warren Pediatric Associates announce collaboration to enhance pediatric care in Warren County

Warren General Hospital and Warren Pediatric Associates are working together to recruit additional pediatricians to the Warren community.  The primary focus of the new pediatricians will be attending newborns and pediatric inpatients in Warren General Hospital. The established physicians and staff at Warren Pediatric Associates will continue to provide excellent pediatric and adolescent care at both their Warren and Sheffield office locations. Together, Warren Pediatric Associates and Warren General Hospital pediatricians will deliver the comprehensive pediatric and adolescent care the Warren community has come to expect.

Questions and Answers

Is Warren Pediatric Associates stopping or limiting their office based pediatric care? 

No!  Warren Pediatric Associates will continue to serve the pediatric and adolescent needs of the community in their Warren and Sheffield offices. There will be no change in the level of care and services provided by WPA.  

Will Warren Pediatric Associates continue to offer emergency call services? 

Yes! Warren Pediatric Associates and Warren General Hospital pediatricians will provide emergency call services. 

How will pediatric care at Warren General Hospital change including newborn coverage? Who will see my new baby? 

Newly recruited pediatricians under the direction of Warren General Hospital will care for all newborn babies and any inpatient pediatric patients. 

Can I still bring my child to the Warren General Hospital Emergency Room or WGH Walk-in Care? 

Yes! Access to emergency pediatric care will always be available at Warren General Hospital. You may bring your child to the Emergency Department or Walk-in Care at any time.

Warren General Hospital and Warren Pediatric Associates will be actively recruiting and interviewing pediatricians to join us in Warren.
