From Room Service to Vending Machines

Warren General Hospital offers one of the most innovative food service programs available today. In order to serve our patients better, we offer a room service dining program which gives you the flexibility to choose the foods you prefer, at the times you want.

Soon after your admission to Warren General Hospital, your physician will prescribe a specific diet to meet your particular needs. Once prescribed, you may use the menu available on your bedside table to place meal orders. Simply call extension 2222 between the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Your meal will be promptly delivered within 30 to 45 minutes.

While meals can be ordered any time between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., the suggested meal times are:

  • Beverages - 6:30 am

  • Breakfast - 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

  • Lunch - 10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

  • Dinner - 5:00 p.m. – 6:30p.m. (we stop servicing hot food at 6:00 pm and offer cold food selections from 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm)

Things to Remember

Assistance is available in setting up your tray and opening any containers if needed. Your help is appreciated, when possible, in clearing off your bedside tray table prior to meal times. Please call nursing for assistance in adjusting your bed.

If you have a family member or friend that wishes to dine with you, guest meals are available. These may be ordered through the same number (ext. 2222) and must be paid for at the time of delivery.

Other Food Service Options
