The Summer Sizzler 2023
Warren General Hospital celebrated their annual “Summer Sizzler” golf outing in August. This annual fund-raiser brings together hundreds of golfers, local area sponsors, and hospital staff to raise money for a great cause. This year, the Summer Sizzler proceeds will be put towards the purchase of a radiological c-arm machine. This device provides high-resolution X-ray images in real- time, allowing the physician to monitor progress at any point & make any immediate corrections in procedures. It is used most often in the operating room for orthopedic & general surgery procedures. Warren General has experienced an uptick in orthopedic & general surgical cases which would benefit from this modern technology. Here are some highlights from the big day:
